*Technopathy

Lynx was born with the ability to talk to technology in the same manner as humans converse, because in her mind, they are alive. Thus she is able to gain knowledge by asking her computer to search through an encyclopedia, dictionary, or use any search engine.
She can, for the most part, connect to any electronic she encounters, and once in her database she can connect to it at any time she’s in range.
Weaknesses: When she “connects” to a computer, it too has access to her, so she must be cautious to what or when she lets her guard down. She is also prone to viruses when her mental firewall is weakened by physical illness or if she is exhausted.

The more exposed to a certain computer she is, the farther away she can be and still access its data base, though the range is only a feet when first contact is made.

A miniaturized computer, much like Tony Stark’s Jarvis, is never found away from her. This has been her companion since she was a child, and considered to be her best friend.


*Telepathy

Lynx can use Telepathy to tap into the super conscious and access the collective wisdom of the human for his/her knowledge. Because she has only started developing this power, she can only see what is fresh in the memory.


*Telekinesis

As her Technopathic abilities grew, a parent of her power began to show through. She can increase her speed, strength, stamina, and agility. Using throwing stars and small knives made of pure psi energy that leave you nauseous and dizzy, or thrown against a wall and used as stepping plates. Although she may possess’ greater Telekinetic potential, she prefers to focus on her Technopathy and martial arts.



Explanation: Lynx is a Black Belt in several forms of martial arts and is a master of stealth and silence. She prefers a silent, planned-out form of attack, but is able to adapt to other sorts of plans.

Born in the future where there was a period of peace amongst the government, Regulars, and Mutants, Lynx was able to live a semi-normal life. Her abilities progressed rapidly due to the fact that her parents and many of her neighbors were Mutants as well. But as peaceful times do not last forever, the government soon began to grow restless. They began capturing Mutants and forcefully taking blood in efforts to recreate the X-Project. Lynx's parents were some of the first to be taken, leaving her orphaned at ten. Finding out their daughter was a Mutant as well they came for her, and when they did she ran away, co-finding a group of resistant kids. At a mission to free other Mutant orphans years later, she was captured. Before blood was taken, she led an attempt at escape in which she was accidently transported back to the time of the original X-men. Now this future refugee hopes that she can perfect her powers and make it back to her time to help lead the resistance once again.

*Born as Charlotte Talecine, her birth name was replaced with Lynx when she started the resistance. She completely dropped the name Charlotte and took on Lynx after a few years, and even now she does not tell her real name in fear of 'the butterfly effect'.



The wind blew through her short hair as Lynx sat on the rooftop, waiting for the download to be done.
“Can’t you go any faster?” she pleaded to small computer chip in her hand.
“I am sorry, but I have a limit,” came the reply.
“Oh, come on! You are the most advanced computer that can be found in this time frame, you would think you could at least have a faster speed that snail!” she retorted.
“Well, maybe you should trash me, and go back to a 2011 model then! I hear they only have half the memory I do!”
“Now, that’s stupid. They just came out with one that has close to two-thirds of your memory,” Lynx smiled.
“You wouldn’t!”
“Wanna bet?”
A soft ding filled the air. “There, happy!”
“Yes; but you know I wouldn’t have actually canned you, right?” she asked, touching the holographic screen.
“Of course. Besides, I don’t think you would find anything else that would put up with as much as I do,” it said, chuckling.
Lynx sighed, staring down at the people below. “No, probably not.”
