SH First Strike

Rayne heard the call on the radio, and ran a frustrated hand through her hair. She was a last minute addition to this little 'mission' and she wasn't exactly happy about that fact. Rayne closed her eyes for a moment, 'looking' into the bank. Seeing Behemoth's little pet, Rayne sighed and opened her eyes. Glancing over at the others, Rayne jerked her head in the direction of the enterance "Well come on!"
Rayne ran into the bank, and past Behemoth and his pet; stopping in front of the bank teller. "Ok lady, put the money in the bag! she told the woman, throwing a burlap sack at her. Rayne had to hold back her laughter at how cliche all this seemed. The woman looked from the bag to Rayne, standing still. "Well...? Rayne flicked her wrist, sending her knife down to her hand from her sleeve "That wasn't a suggestion, it was an order!

Lynx sat waiting for Ghost to tell the team what the strategy was. She had already hacked into the security cameras, and what they were telling her wasn't pretty. "There's this short guy controlling a hulking monster, a girl with weapons threatening a teller, and two other males." Stepping away from the wall, Lynx made her way over to where the rest where huddled. "So what are we doing, oh fearless leader of ours?" she asked Ghost.

Zero was one of the 1st people at the bank and well he hid on the roof. Seeing Behemoth just walk into the front door made him think him going in through the back would be a waste of time now. He jumped down and entered through the front door as well. He made sure his mask was sturdy and wouldn't break. Than he looked at the chaos of the scene. Sigh.. You guys seriously know nothing... Thanks to the mask his voice became distorted.

Than Zero just walked past to the locked security and froze the lock. He had made it brittle enough that he kicked it open with his foot. The security came towards him, he gave a sharp exhale and the air got cold and the guards had fallen over from the sheer cold. The attendants started to scream so more. Don't worry they're not dead... just in comas... Not i recommend you do nothing aand just shut up if you don't want to actually die... Than he looked back at the others of the SH... Hey you guys! How about we go after the vault! Should be much more there...

He ignored the others and just walked toward the back and eventually to the vault. He pointed his finger at the door and shot a jet of of cold energy. He just stood there and waited until the door to have gotten brittle enough to break.

Rayne looked over her shoulder as Zero entered the bank. She smiled slightly in amusement seeing that he was wearing a mask. "You say we know nothing? At least I'm trying to keep this being too much a cliche. she retorted, sarcastically. Rayne blew a tuft of hair from her eyes, and turned her attention back to the teller. She grabbed the burlap sack full of cash in the register.

After taking the sack, Rayne flicked her knife back up into the sleeve. She rolled her eyes at Zero, before slowly walking up to the vault. "Can it Ice Cube..." Rayne said, kicking the already brittle hinges on the vault door. She took a step back as the vault door fell to the ground. "Why don't you be a good boy, and go get the money from the vault. Rayne said mockingly, slinging the burlap sack over her shoulder. "The sooner we're done here, the sooner we can leave...

Hikuro looked around, he was ready for some action but he knew he have to wait for his captain, Ghost. He looked at the bank and saw a lot of mutans in particular a big guy controlling a big monster. He looked at the others, he wanted to know the others but this wasn't time to know others. Hikuro made a little laugh when he heard the girl saying something to Ghost. He tried to cover his laugh hopping that Ghost will not found. "So… which one i should challenge?" Hikuro said while returning to look at the thief inside the bank.

Ghost remained silence for a moment. The group attacking the bank was small but that didn't mean they were any less dangerous. He assessed the situation within a few moments seeing that the group wasn't exactly working together meaning splitting his own group shouldn't be too much of a worry

"Lynx and Spitfire you two take the one in the mask by the vault...work together, Roan take the young woman, I'll take care of the short fellow and his assistant"

He gave the orders smoothly and stopped for a sec

"Volt wait out here in case anyone else shows up"

He had honestly almost forgotten about the last person in the group but this worked out, having someone to watch the outside in any situation was an advantage

"I want this to be fast but smooth. It will be a lot to ask but avoid getting hurt...and I suppose we should avoid damaging things...but that is a minor point" He looked about the group he had brought with him hoping he hadn't made any mistakes in his selections "Move out"

With that he broke into a short dash and slid feet first kicking in the roof window and dropped straight inside

Lynx's jaw locked in frustration as Ghost gave them commands. Was he really going to make her share an oppenant? After she had done so well against the Sentinel? Rolling her eyes in his direction, she looked over and gave Hiruko an encouraging smile. After all, it wasn't his fault. She got up and started towards the window. "Ok, you distract him, and I'll come up from behind. Once he's nauscious and can't work with his powers he should be easy to take into custody." Not waiting for his reply, she jumped throught the glassless window, making sure to give her enough strength to endure the landing but refraining from using all of her energy. She would need plenty to create a powerful enough dagger to disarm the masked robber.

Rayne scoffed at Behemoth, replying to his comment with rolling her eyes. Rayne continued gathering the money, and stopped momentarily as she sensed others. She smirked, realizing that this was about to get more interesting. Exiting the vault, Rayne dropped her bag of cash by the wall. Yea, of course we got company. I could have told you that a while ago... she said sarcastically, hinting at her clairvoyance.
She stretched her arms above her head, and watched as some of the others came into the building. Rayne had to stifle a laugh, They sent in some kids! she said, noticing the girl coming through the window and the boy just outside. With a shrug, Rayne readied herself A fight's a fight, I guess.

"Huh? Wait… WHAT?!?!" Hikuro can't believe at Ghost orders, he have to share an opponent with a girl. Hikuro was a little upset by that but he can't protest right now. He decide to follow Lynx and jumped after her through the glass. He landed smoothly and get up quickly. He looked inside the bank and at the thief. "Did you just call me a kid?" Hikuro looked at the girl that just call them some kids. He really didn't liked to be called a kid. He raise his right arm and started to create a fireball.

If she wasn't more concerned about the their in the bank Lynx would have used a dagger on the girl, but she was. All she could do was give a snide comment. "Oh, yeah, cause you're so much older than us." With that Lynx took nudged Hikuro towards the back and sped along. Why did Ghost send Roan to face a kid? What he should have done was have them both gang up on the man and his pet and given us the less threatening. Lynx shook her head to clear her thoughts and focussed in on her mission. The theif had used ice to break open the vault. Zero? she wondered. It didn't matter now. Using the layout of the map she had gotten from the computer, Lynx started down the aisle that would loop around to where the man was filling his bags.

Ghost was more then aware the team was most likely displeased with his set up but it didn't matter at the moment. He knew Roan would be able to handle the young girl quickly allowing him to back Ghost up if he needed it. Also having seen the footage of the boy freezing the vault sending both Lynx and Spitfire made since so that they could watch each other and distract the enemy. Besides it wasn't exactly like he was taking a two on one fight

"I will say this once....leave" His voice was cold and almost emotionless as he stared at the shorter man "Leave and I will be sure not to hurt you too much"

Behemoth watched as more and more people seemed to enter the bank but it was of little concern to him. It seemed the robed figure had set his sights on him as his target.

"Hurt me?" He laughed a little "You can try...little man"

Behemoth savored the bit of irony in his words as he pet began to bare down on the fellow. His creature towering over the man the same way he towered over Behemoth himself.

"Kill him" It was a simple command but one he knew his pet would understand and have no trouble following as it let out its murderous roar

Upon arrival at the bank, the group had assessed the situation and after Ghost determined the logisitics of the operation, he directed everyone accordingly. Roan's target was a young lady among the band of thieves. Without question, he had given a nod to Ghost before heading for his objective. She was quick to respond to the younger members' approach, but they were none of her concern as he entered the bank. After lubricating his hands with a liquid, he came through the front door, before his feet left the floor. There was no sound in his movements, there wasn't time for any. Within seconds, he'd closed the distance between he and his target, landing only a couple feet from her back. He needed no words. There'd be no warnings. No reasoning. No negotiating. His prerogative was to capture and restrain the target without incident. They could sort out the details later. It was a pity they could not find a more positive and constructive way of using their abilities, but this was their choice. Those were his thoughts as he quickly reached for her arm.

He just did't say a word... He had wanted to leave from already... So he went up to the cash and started putting a lot of money in his pocket for himself... He didn't count he just knew it was a bit more than a few dozen thousands. After his pocket were filled he started filling the sack he brought. He heard the commotion from behind and knew that it seems someone was here to stop them... Than he felt an ironic chill run down his back... Hm... I see a challenger... Listen whoever is out there just stay out of the way and you won't keel over... Zero just threw the sack over his shoulder and just started walking out. He was concentrating a nice little surprise if anything made any sudden movements. He really didn't want to fight and thanks to his mask he was hidden so he knew it didn't matter what he did. Odds were there had to be a few ice mutants around so he was ok for the time being.

Rayne smirked, it seemed that her little comment made the kids upset. Although, after watching them run along the back of the bank, it appears that she wouldn't get the chance to fight them. She shrugged, and glanced back into the vault to check on Zero. Rayne watched him for a minute as he gathered more money.
Rayne turned back around to observe her surroundings. She closed her eyes momentarily, activating her 'vision'. She saw a man jump from one side of the bank and land just behind her. Rayne let out a scoff, "You're gonna have be a lot quicker than that to get past my eyes. She spun around, dropping to the ground to avoid his grip. As she dropped she kicked at his legs in a sweeping motion.

Hikuro quickly follow Lynx towards the vault passing the girl that made him a little angry. He really want to beat her but orders were orders and he didn't want to be punished by Ghost for not doing the mission. He saw a masked guy trying to get out from the bank so Hikuro decide to stop him by throwing a fireball right in front of him. "Where are you going, buddy?" Hikuro said with an evil smile in his face trying to get the attention of the masked guy.

"Hmph." Roan scoffed at the girl's attempt. The well-toned legs of a soldier would not give way to an attack of that calibur and her leg was immediately stopped upon contact with his. The next moment, the blade of his sword was under her chin, only a small distance from touching her throat. "Sorry, but this is the end," he spoke as he stood over the law-breaker, his burning red eyes focused on only her, eyes that saw right through her. "You are hereby under my custody."

Rayne flinched slightly as the blade came close to contact. She stared up at him, anger and hatred coursing through her veins. With a sigh, Rayne propped herself up on hands and knees. She then sat back on her knees, closing her eyes she raised her hands slowly. "Alright... Alright you got me. Fair and square..." Rayne said slowly, masking her anger with sweetness.
Rayne opened her eyes, she could 'see' the rest of the battles that were taking place. She focused on the man, staring into his eyes, with her own eyes glowing brightly. Rayne put her hands down on the ground, and shifted her weight slightly on her knees. Suddenly, Rayne fell onto her back from her knees and positioned her hands by her head, palm down. From there she did a back kick over, kicking the blade in the process. Once she back in a standing position, she flicked her wrist launching her own blade from her sleeve. Rayne watched the man with a smirk, "Haha psyche"

Ghost shifted his weight falling back as the large beast sent its boulder sized fist into him. The blow would still do damage but most of it would be absorbed into his gauntlets and his backward momentum.

"Fast for a big guy" He whispered to himself as he lowered his center of gravity and charged forward.

The beast swiped at Ghost who jumped grabbing the arm and pushed himself forward diving a metal clad hand into the beasts face before flipping and landing on the other side. There was a moment pause and Ghost shook his hand in the air. Even with controlling the strength of the punch and the special nature of his gauntlets he felt as if he had just punched a wall of solid adamantium.

The beast turned and let out a roar its nose bleeding a little.

"Kill him..kill him now" Behemoth yelled as the masked man danced about his creature even managing to land a blow.

"Looks like fists aren't going to do it with this guy" Ghost was still speaking in a low whisper mostly talking to himself as her stretched out his right arm, the shadows inside his sleeve seemed to stretch and twist till a blade was in his hand "Let's see what happens when I drive a blade into your heart"

If Ghost had ever been "relaxed" before he clearly had given up on the notion as darkness spread out from his body, almost like a visible killing intent the further the darkness spread an unnatural chill came with it. It wasn't the "it's cold" type of chill more like the kind of chill you got when you knew death was approaching.

"I don't know if you can understand me beast....but allow me to teach you fear" Even through his distorted voice it was clear Ghost was now in more of a battle mode. He wouldn't say he had gotten fully serious but he certainly wasn't going to act like he had with the students

"H..he's just bluffing kill him" Behemoth stuttered a bit as he watched the taller man. The more he stared into that expressionless mask the more Behemoth felt he was fighting against the Grim Reaper himself. He shook his head cursing his superstitious mother filling his head with such garbage. But he couldn't help but feel a chill as that black aura began to spread across the back from the man. That fear grew even more as his pet charged forward and the man passed through it and the black blade he had formed was buried deep in his monsters chest causeing it to drop to its knee

Lynx stood still. She had her hand pressed firmly against the wall and was looking through the cameras at the thief. Spitfire had done his job and gotten his attention. Now all she needed was the right moment to strike and he'd be finished. Concentrating hard, she started to create the dagger. Lynx's head started to throb with the effort. Her energy was starting to get low, and if she wasn't careful it would be all gone soon. With the creation finished, now all she had to do was wait for Spitfire.

Zero just stood there as he watched the guy... I'm fairly not in the mood... So seeya! He hugged his chest and did an exploding motion and a wave of cold air and hail rained in every angle around him. This move was aimed to just distract the people so he could get away if that failed well he always had a trick up his sleeve.

It was quite daring of her to try something like that. If he hadn't pulled back, he wasn't sure what condition she'd be in. It was impressive that she'd not only managed to recover from such a position, but also disarmed him and was even on the attack now. However, the only thing Roan had to say to her was, "Try again."

Roan gave a quick glance in Ghost's direction as he retrieved his items. He sure was pouring on the nightmare fuel with the short guy. Even he caught a chill. There was no time to worry about that now. He was near the bag of money the girl had dropped, so he kicked it up and caught the bag in his hand. Digging around in the bag, he began pelting his dance partner with coins like bullets as he gravitated towards his sword. He could quickly reacquire his weapon, but he had another idea as well.

"Seeya in hell!!" Hikuro said with anger while creating more fireballs around him. He was really angry since first he have to share is opponent and second his opponent don't want to fight them since he have the mood. He quickly launched the fireball that he just created at the guy with the mask without hesitation. "I will get you in the mood!!!" Hikuro yelled to him.

Lynx blinked in shock, almost causing her blade to disappear. Sure she hadn't really hung around Hiruko, but she had never heard him so angry. Was having to share an openant with her so horrible? Her tmper now flared, Lynx gave more strength to the pulsing purple blade. Clenching her jaw, she bent her knees slightly and readied herself for her attack. She had to get this right or she would have wasted her energy over nothing.
