History
Lacey’s mom died of cancer when she was six, and when her father drank himself to death six months later she was left at an orphanage. Although she was loved by all of the kids, the staff despised her for the charm she had over them. Not being able to stand the mistreatment from them, Lacey ran away at the age of ten. After years of breaking into homes for food and sleeping in trees, she finally was ‘adopted’ by an elderly couple. In the two years that she lived with them, she was able to attend her freshman and sophomore years of high school. Her Mutant abilities appeared at this time in her life, but it caused little damage in her new life due to her foster parent’s understanding and accepting nature. Lacey was once again on the street half way through her sophomore year when the couple was sent to a nursing home. Now she hopes to be able to reconnect with people of her own age and learn how to master her powers.
